Finger Pointing
I do not mean to drag a fatality into the headlines, but this story is simply crazy. The US legal system is so entrenched with a sue first, ask questions later approach that it is scary.
The man was drunk, chatting on a cellphone and not wearing a seatbelt AND it is the fault of the bar that served him the drinks. Apparently the bartender should have buzzed in on call waiting to remind Hancock to wear his seatbelt.
Two words - Personal Responsibility.
