RCMP Museum is in the works

Construction on a $30-million RCMP museum has begun in Regina and the public has been given a sneak peek at what it will look like.

The RCMP Heritage Centre will open in 2007. The Centre was designed by renowned Canadian architect Arthur Erickson, will open in the spring of 2007.

Count Stephen Harper out as one of the first vistors. Harper alleges federal Liberals would be deeper trouble from the Gomery findings by the RCMP, if they weren't in power. Harper goes onto to say that the police and authorities have to do their job but he has a sneaking suspicion that this job would be done much more effectively and much more quickly if the Liberal party were not in power. Smart move Harper question your potential security force. Why not call into question the cooking at 24 Sussex and sit back and wait for your first meal. He really is quite sad.

Comments:
He's just calling a spade a spade. The upper management of the RCMP (who give marching orders to the regular officers) have been lap dogs of the Liberals. They were involved with the sponsorship scandal, and not as investigators, Chretien set them on protesters during the APEC summit and when he found he had such good attack dogs, he set them on the President of the Development Bank of Canada.

The upper management answers to the liberals, is appointed by the liberals and Harper is correct to say that this would have been alittle more vigorously investigated if the liberals were not in power.

This is why the US has independent councils, and the current upper management is why Albert need the Royal Alberta Mounted Police. The less Ottawa (Liberals) controls, the better for all Canadians.

What's sad is the necessity of even have to suggest such an allegation in this country.

As it becomes more and more evident that the heads of government agencies are working for the Liberal Party of Canada, rather than for the Canadian citizens in general, latent distrust will likely become the norm, even with such hallowed institutions as the RCMP.

But, then again, the Tories don't have enough sufficient policies for your liking, so let's not dare vote out the Liberals.
