Next off the Liberal titanic - Pat
It seems the next Liberal MP to jump ship will be Pat (Paddy) O'Brien. The London-Fanshawe MP has been unhappy with the Liberals for quite sometime so this shouldn't come as a shock. He has been grumbling aloud about, among other things, gay marriage. Remember this quote: "Same-sex marriage may indeed open the door for polygamy."
O'Brien would be quite a catch for the Conservatives. O'Brien would go along way to expanded the Conservative tent and broadening their appeal in urban Canada. Or, he would continue to reinforce the sterotype. It is unclear.
